Jim Corbett Safari
Jim Corbett National Park is named after the famous hunter and
conservationist. It is the oldest national park in India which was
established in 1936. It is known as one of the best and most
fascinating national parks in the world.
Jim Corbett National Park is home to 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species. You can find pipal, sal, haldu, rohini and other trees that cover close to 73 per cent of the entire park area
The monsoon season is the least favourable time to visit the park due to the heavy rainfall received in those area. Some time parks remains closed during that season.
According
to most visitors , the best time to visit is during March 15th to
April 30th when one can get the smell of fresh
grasslands.
The winter season is good as it gives tourists the opportunity to set their sights on some rare migratory birds.
Jim Corbett National Park Wildlife Safari
Jeeps are available to explore the wildlife. Tourists are placed in an open or enclosed jeep. Sometimes they are made to walk, depending on the situation at the park.
From Indian Pangolins, leopards, Himalayan Black bear and more, the vast spread is quite a treat to the eyes. You might get a chance to catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger if you are lucky. The various safaris are available which include a Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari, Horse Safari as well as a Bird Safari
